With almost 20 years behind the chair and a background in hairstyling education, I've built my career around creativity, technical skill, and a healthy curiosity about how hair works.
I love precision cutting, textured and edgy styles, dimensional blonding, and a good colour correction. I'm especially drawn to work that challenges me to think outside the box, whether that's a bold transformation or finding a solution to someone's ongoing hair struggles.
I'm big on consultations because great hair starts with understanding the person wearing it. I'll ask questions, give you my honest opinion, and work with you to create something that suits your hair, your lifestyle, and how much effort you actually want to put into it. Healthy hair will always be a priority, even if that means taking a different approach than originally planned.

Current hair obsession: Precision cutting, nerding out about hair and scalp health, and anything that makes me think.
Unnecessarily passionate about: Halloween decorations, hockey, and the importance of a proper consultation.

With five years behind the chair, I've developed a love for blonding, hair extensions, and creating smooth, polished styles.
I especially enjoy creating beautiful blondes, adding length and volume with nano, weft, and tape-in extensions, and finishing off a service with a really good blowout. Whether you're looking for a subtle refresh or something a little more transformative, I love creating hair that feels like you.
For me, the experience matters just as much as the end result. I want you to feel comfortable, listened to, and excited about your hair. My chair is a place where you can relax, be yourself, and enjoy a little time that's just for you.

When I'm not doing hair, I'm probably: At the gym, gaming, or playing piano to unwind.

With 15 years of experience in the hair industry, I'm excited to be back behind the chair after taking some time away to raise my kids. I've missed the creativity, conversations, and connections that come with doing hair, and I'm looking forward to bringing all of that to Wicked.

Cathy Brezina
Hairstylist • Educator • Precision Cutting & Classic Colour
With over 40 years in the hair industry, I've spent much of my career behind the chair and in the classroom. I became a licensed hairstylist in 1984 before eventually moving into education, teaching hairstyling, aesthetics, and OYAP.
I've always loved the art of a great haircut, especially precision cutting, creating texture, and finding a shape that works for the person wearing it. I also enjoy classic colour services, from keeping your roots looking fresh to creating rich, beautiful all-over colour.
Now that I've retired from teaching, I'm excited to get back to doing what I love: great hair, good conversations, and connecting with the people in my chair. And the best part? I get to do it at the salon of one of my former students! It's pretty special to see things come full circle.

When I'm not doing hair, I'm probably: Hiking local trails, walking along Burlington Beach, or spending time with my grandchildren.
My musical side: Singing with my a cappella group or playing guitar.
